Abstract

SUMMARYThe growth of anodic films on aluminium in disodium tetraborate, so-called alkaline anodizing, has been examined by transmission electron microscopy of plan views of stripped anodic films and ultramicrotomed sections of the anodic film attached to the aluminium substrate.
