Abstract

The equivalent impedance, measured at relatively low frequencies ( ≲ 200 csec), of galvanic cells, DME/In(III), 1 M NaBr/Hg-pool and DME/Ni(II), 1 M KSCN/Hg-pool, was shown to give a negative resistance when the DME was negatively polarized. The mechanism of the electrode reactions of the DME/In(III)-NaBr and DME/Ni(II)-KSCN systems was assumed to be similar to that proposed for the DME/ In(III)-KSCN system.
