Abstract

A theoretical model of type II pyroelectric detectors, which considers primary, secondary and tertiary effects, is given. The responsivities vs the target width and frequency are derived and calculated for LiTaO3 type II pyroelectric detectors. The results are in agreement with those of other experiments.
