Accelerated medical education.

Abstract

To the Editor.— I think Dr Kessler has drawn the wrong conclusion in his editorial on accelerated medical education (235:2629, 1976). All he can infer is that successful students can be selected (was there any doubt?) but not necessarily successful physicians. It takes more than the criteria outlined for that to be established.
