Review of Flexible Actuators Based on Intelligent Materials

Abstract

In this paper, intelligent materials for flexible actuators are reviewed, including fiber knitted fabric, elastic polymer, electroactive polymer, shape memory alloy and shape memory polymer. This paper will discuss the current challenges in the development of flexible actuators, and analyze its future development.
