Abstract

Sustainability is an increasingly important topic within the media technology sector. This topic, which was first addressed in the SMPTE 2022 Progress Report, is an indication that the industry is not only taking an interest, but an increasingly active role in implementing sustainability action plans. Readers should also refer to the SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal’s August 2023 issue, which featured sustainability.
