Pancreatic duct surgery: From innovation to implementation

Abstract

Based on the continuous advances in surgical technology and equipment, as well as the recognition of the importance of the normal physiological function of the pancreatic duct, we performed several clinical studies of pancreatic duct repair after injury, and the results initially confirmed the safety and effectiveness of pancreatic duct injury repair. This article reviewed the indications and advantages of pancreatic duct surgery (PDS) and provided an outlook on the future of PDS.
