Abstract

Abstract The main drawback of progressive type-II censoring is that the time length of the experiment may be very large. This drawback of progressive type-II censoring scheme can be avoided if we consider progressively type-II hybrid censoring scheme, which is a mixture of progressive type-II and hybrid censoring schemes.
