The thematic principle for the organization of control over the assimilation of listening / speaking skills is outdated, it does not reflect the specifics of modern interpersonal communication, including socially conditioned one. Abstract

The article is devoted to the search for new approaches and forms of control over the assimilation of students’ knowledge at the initial stage within the framework of a worldview approach to teaching Russian as a foreign language. Based on the analysis of existing forms and types of control, a conclusion was made about their incomplete compliance with the goals of teaching live communication in Russian.
