Abstract
Abstract To determine the usefulness of narrative films for academic library collections we examined faculty use of narrative films through course reserve and purchase requests. We found that narrative films were used by faculty in teaching a wide variety of subjects and identified the curricular areas most used. Our findings are a case study directly related to our collection development but can be useful for other libraries building collections for similar curriculum support.
