Abstract

We report synthesis and comprehensive characterization of a series of (oligo)thiophene-bridged (bis)phenanthroline ligands. The complexation behavior of the ditopic ligands with Cu(I) was explored by high resolution ESI mass spectrometry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and electrochemistry.
