Abstract

Abstract Quality of work life (QWL) can succinctly be explained as the perceptible extent to which the people working with an organization experience a sense of ease and affability in their working life, how comfortable and enjoyable they find their working life. This research study has analyzed seven identified components of QWL. It has also made an attempt to establish the degree of influence of various demographic variables on the perception of respondents towards QWL in public and private sector banks. The research was mainly descriptive in nature and the sample size was 300. It was ultimately found that demographic variables do not have much influence on QWL.
