Abstract
To reach this conclusion, it is necessary to conduct a study of the social, historical and religious context of the time. To this end, we have re-viewed the origins of the Order of St. Augustine and their two big unions of 1244 and 1256, as well as the arrival of the Augustinian Order in the city of Seville. In the same way, it is significant in our study the fusion that the Monastery had with the community of sisters of San Pedro in 1516 –the walling-up of San Pedro–, as a transforming both the San Leandro community and its heritage in the last medie-val moments of the history of the city of Seville
