Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper reports a micromirror-based real image laser automotive head-up display (HUD), which overcomes the limitations of the previous designs by: (1) implementing an advanced display approach which is able to display sharp corners while the previous designs can only display curved lines such as to improve the display fidelity and (2) Optimizing the optical configuration to significantly reduce the HUD module size.
