RATIONAL EMOTIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SELF ESTEEM PADA SISWA SMP KORBAN BULLYING

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach group counseling in increasing the self esteem of students who are victims of bullying. Low self esteem can inhibit the development of self potential. Bullying students who have low self esteem will be shy, awkward, do not dare to express their ideas, and are hesitant in making difficult decisions to accept themselves sincerely and always comparing themselves with others. This type of research is quantitative, with the design used in this type of research is quasi experimental design non-equivalent control group design. In the two groups both pretest and posttest were conducted.
