The objective of this review of studies was to determine whether emotional intelligence influences job satisfaction. The databases used were: Google Scholar, SciELO, Redalyc, Dialnet, Google Books, physical books, selecting a total of 50 references. Daniel Goleman’s theory was revived to describe the components of emotional intelligence, and the theory of Jose Melia and Jose Peiro to identify the dimensions of job satisfaction. Abstract
Emotional intelligence is a concept that has become especially important in organizations, by exerting influence on job satisfaction.
