Abstract
The Great Resignation has impacted radiology just as it has impacted other healthcare disciplines. Healthcare organizations have struggled to recruit and retain essential disciplines resulting in concerns to properly care for patients, maintain regulatory compliance, and ensure organizational financial health. This article explores why this has happened and the resulting impact on healthcare organizations including radiology departments and teams. In addition, it shares how leaders can not only react to The Great Resignation but also how to best equip their teams and organizations to withstand these most challenging times. A focus on our human capital including student and team experience will offer opportunities and insights into surviving and thriving beyond The Great Resignation.
