Exploration of the new mode of pharmaceutical care in the outpatient dispensary during epidemic of Corona Virus Disease-2019

Abstract

Objective: To explore the new mode of pharmaceutical care in the outpatient dispensary during epidemic of Corona Virus Disease-2019 (COVID-19), so as to improve the quality of pharmaceutical care for the patients with chronic diseases,and provide reference for emergency aid in abrupt public health events. Methods:Efforts were made for the perfection of relevant management strategies in terms of personnel,drugs,environment, window operation management based on informati-zation and "Internet + pharmaceutical care". Results: Through automated equipment and information-based management, the human resources and protective materials of the outpatient dispensary were reasonably allocated and effectively managed. The "Internet+ pharmaceutical care" mode provided safe, timely and effective pharmaceutical care for the patients with chronic diseases. Conclusion: The exploration and improvement of the mode of pharmaceutical care in the outpatient dispensary has ensured the safety of pharmacy staff during the epidemic,reduced the risk of nosocomial infection,and enabled various tasks to be carried out in an efficient and orderly manner.
