NACIONALISMO, RECONHECIMENTO E CONFLITO ÁRABE-JUDAICO: NATIONALISM, RECOGNITION AND THE ARAB-JEWISH CONFLICT

Abstract

This article analyses the elements that constitute the Jewish nationalism and influenced the creation of the State of Israel, the links between the international political context and the Arab-Jewish conflicts and the relations between these conflicts and the political notions of recognition and identity. This research uses documental and bibliographic sources, and the analysis is based on Raymond Scheindlin’s thoughts on Jewish nationalism and other authors on the same topic.
