Methods: The study was developed in three phases with the application of the Disability Assessment Scale for Dementia – long version (DADL-BR) in older people attending the ‘Deu Branco’ workshop at Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp), Brazil. Results: In the pre-pandemic period of COVID-19, participants had difficulties in only 2 of the 20 domains evaluated (Rest and Sleep and Finance and Correspondence), while during the pandemic period they had difficulties in 5 of the 20 domains (Functional Mobility, Rest and Sleep, Finance and Correspondence, Care of Others and Work).
