ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA LISAN PADA KANAL YOUTUBE FOULY

Abstract

Analysis of language errors is very important to do because by knowing the language errors we can understand the process of acquiring a second language and we can also help correct the errors. The purpose of this study is to find the types of errors and analyze the causes of errors. This research method is a qualitative research with language error analysis techniques carried out through 4 stages, namely: sample collection, error identification, error description, and Ellis (1994) error explanation. The results of this study show that foreign speakers' oral language errors on Fouly's YouTube channel include phonological, morphological, syntactic, and semantic errors. Sources of errors in the spoken language of foreign speakers on Fouly's YouTube channel are the influence of the first language, the language mastered before the target language, and foreign speakers have not mastered the rules of the target language.
