It enrolled in Action Research because it was possible to solve everyday problems by improving specific practices. Abstract

The research let answer the question: in what way does the Problem-Based Learning strategy contributes to the development of argumentation, in the tenth and eleventh-grade students from Puerto Quinchana Educational Institution, Villa Fatima headquarters of the municipality of San Agustin, in the year 2019? It was a qualitative study, applied to a convenience sample of eleven students, oriented to understand and deepen the phenomenon taking the participant perspectives in their context; with a socio-critical approach since it was based on the self-reflective character and considered that knowledge is built by interests that arise from the needs of the groups.
