Methods for determining the static loads are described. Calculations of the pressure on the retaining wall using an analytical method were carried out. Simulation modeling of the body side loading with the method of discrete elements using the Rocky DEM software was performed. The parameters for discrete elements (with coal as the bulk material) are given. The calculated values and the previously obtained values of physical tests and studies are analyzed. Graphs and dependences of the influence of the body side height on the pressure on the retaining wall are obtained. Abstract
The article considers design schemes for determining static loads on the body sides of a mining dump truck. Methods for determining the static loads are described.
