Abstract

Abstract One of the promising directions for the development of open access is the conclusion of Transformative Agreements, information about which is registered in ESAC. Signed Agreements are systematized and analyzed according to the following criteria: publisher, country, university consortium, and Number of Annual Publications. Universities of Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, the UK, Ireland, and the USA are the most active in concluding ТА. The application of the agreements allowed for September 2020–October 2021 to increase the Number of Annual Publications by 1.8 times. The research results allow to assess the impact of Transformative Agreements on the open access movement.
