The legal regime of the high seas includes the following freedoms: 1) freedom of navigation; 2) freedom of flight; 3) freedom of fishing; 4) freedom of laying submarine cables and pipelines; 5) freedom of scientific research; 6) Freedom to create artificial islands and facilities. These freedoms must be exercised taking into account the requirements of international law and the interests of other states. Abstract
