The relationship between the dimensions of psychopathological self, temporal perspective and between sociodemographic variables and involvement in NA actions was examined. Material and methods: We investigated 30 persons (10 women, 20 men) from NA. The average age was 33.6, presence in NA – 66.1 months, duration of abstinence – 53.3 months. We applied the questionnaires: Time perception, “Carpe Diem”, EgoPsychopathology and a sociodemographic questionnaire. Results: Higher levels of education favour a positive perception of the past.
