Networks and joints in practice have not been identified. The confrontation of child labor with social assistance policy is not visible to users. The policy of social assistance is visible and sought after by the needs of adults and the family and less for children and adolescents. Abstract

Coping with child labor through the welfare policy: what is new in the scenario? The objective of this article is to analyze in the state of Paraíba what is new in the politics of social assistance in the confrontation of child labor.
