Methodology:Aall issues (470) were examined, including texts and illustrations. Results: Chile produced an early process of valuation of wine culture for its patrimonial, identity and territorial significance. Limitations: The magazine failed to cover local wine festivals. Conclusions: The state character allowed the magazine to act independently of the economic interests of the industry.
