Abstract

Recent developments in cerebral organoid research have sparked widespread interest among the public and scientific communities alike. However, sensationalism and oversimplification of scientific findings in media coverage can lead to false hope, misinformation, and public distrust in science. This opinion article argues that responsible reporting on cerebral organoid research is not only an ethical imperative, but also critical for advancing the field and maintaining public engagement and trust in science.
