ALTERNATIVA PARA RECONSTRUÇÃO ÓSSEA EM REGIÃO ANTERIOR DE MAXILA: RELATO DE CASO CLÍNICO ALTERNATIVE OF BONE RECONSTRUCTION IN ANTERIOR REGION OF MAXILLA: CASE REPORT

Abstract

Com o advento da Implantodontia moderna, tem sido cada vez maiora utilização de enxertos ósseos frente à perda fisiológica, traumáticaou patológica a que os ossos maxilares são submetidos. Objetivo: Opresente trabalho visa, por meio de um relato de caso clínico, abordara possibilidade de associação de enxertos ósseos na reconstrução dedefeito ósseo maxilar para instalação de implantes dentários. Descriçãodo Caso: Paciente M.A.G, gênero feminino, faioderma, compareceuao consultório particular encaminhada pela clínica de endodontia,para exodontia da unidade 22 devido à fratura radicular. Aoexame clínico, observou-se a presença de fístula ativa associada a estaunidade, e através de exame de imagem verificou-se área hipodensacompatível com extensa lesão periapical. O plano de tratamento incluiuexodontia da unidade fraturada, enucleação da lesão associada,reconstrução do defeito ósseo com enxerto autógeno e liofilizado bovinoe posterior reabilitação com implante dentário e prótese sobreimplante. O caso encontra-se com 3 anos de acompanhamento, comresultado estético e funcional satisfatório. Conclusão: Diferentes tiposde biomateriais agregados apresentam-se como uma técnica alternativaeficaz e de menor morbidade, possibilitando o reparo de defeitoscríticos em osso maxilar para posterior reabilitação.ABSTRACTWith the advent of modern Implantology, there has been increasingthe use of bone grafts by the physiological, traumatic or pathologicalloss to which the maxillary bones are submitted. Objective: This studyaims, through a case report, to describe the possibility of associationof bone grafts in the reconstruction of maxillary bone defect for dentalimplants. Case Description: The patient M.A.G, female, faioderm,attended the private practice sent by the endodontic clinic for unit22 extraction due to dental root fracture. At clinical examination wasobserved the presence of active fistula associated with the unit, andthrough image examination was verified hypodense area, compatiblewith extensive periapical lesion. The treatment plan included fractureunit extraction, enucleation of the associated lesion, reconstruction ofthe bone defect with autogenous graft and lyophilized bovine bone,and subsequent rehabilitation with dental implants and prostheses.The case has 3 years of follow-up with satisfactory aesthetic and functionalresults. Conclusion: Different types of aggregated biomaterialsare presented as an effective alternative technique, of lower morbidity,allowing the repair of critical defects in maxillary bone for later rehabilitation.
