Abstract
Scrub typhus accounts for a considerable number of cases presenting with acute febrile illness with rash. The clinical presentation of the illness varies from non-specific illness to fatal disease. It is very important to have a high index of suspicion and to diagnose the disease at an early stage to prevent morbidity and mortality due to disease complications.
