Abstract

Owing to the global in fl ammatory response and en-dothelial damage, COVID-19 may predispose to coagulation that can lead to thrombotic complications. Here, we present a case of superior mesenteric artery (SMA) thrombosis as a consequence of COVID-19, which was treated with an endovascular approach by mechanical thrombectomy with thrombolysis and stent placement in the SMA.
