Abstract

The paper deals with the architectural production of Ludwig & Hulssner architectural practice. They were employed in Croatia thanks to Iso Krsnjavi, head of the Croatian Government’s Department of Religous and Educational Affairs. The schools were built according to their designs from 1894 in Zagreb, Susak, Nova Gradiska, Karlovac, Ruma, Ilok, and Gospic including a boarding school in Gospic. They also produced standardized projects for rural schools, parish apartments and hospitals.
