Species varied in susceptibility to fire and there is significant concern regarding the conservation status of limited-range KI endemics Moggridgea rainbowi KI micro-trapdoor spider, Zephyrarchaea austini KI assassin spider, and Psacadonotus insulanus KI robust fan-winged katydid.
