Abstract

uncovering the analysis in scientific works, specification of the percentage of originality of the text of scientific work in the system of antiplagiatics, the impact of the originality of the text of scientific work on access to defend (removal from defend). Methods: during the research private-science methods were used – historical legal, formal-logical, statistical, observations and expert assessments. Results: the observance of the principle of conscientiousness in scientific research is con-ditioned solely by the moral qualities and the formed legal conscience of the researcher. A high percentage of the text originality, confirming the absence of unacceptable borrowings in scientific work is not an indicator of the researcher’s conscientiousness, despite the improvement of their detection algorithms, the expansion of search engines and information bases that allow identifying pla-giarism, autoplagiarism, development and emergence of new software products and resources, including the most common www.antiplagiat.ru. Conclusions: the principle of conscientiousness is based on the goodwill of doing actions honestly, without deception, which directly depends on the moral attitude of the researcher, his scientific adviser and scientific consultant.
