Abstract
Historically, outdoor Direct View LED (dvLED) displays have
had very wide pixel pitches (up to 40mm). Recent advances
allowed outdoor dvLED to go below 1.0mm and compete directly
with LCD and OLED. However, these advancements require new
approaches electrically and physically for the outdoor markets.
We will discuss these challenges and present conclusions to
overcome these challenges.
