Abstract

In August, we launched our own podcast called The Huddle: Conversations With the Diabetes Care Team. The title says it all . . . we’re talking with diabetes experts on a wide variety of topics including technology, population health, advocacy, practice, and more! Listen to Jeff Hitchcock of Children with Diabetes, who talks about concerns caregivers have and solutions he’s found, or longtime diabetes care and education specialist Carla Cox, who shares her diabetes camp experience and how you can become involved in one. There’s care and education specialist Diana Issacs, who gets into the practical application of CGMs, and 2018 AADE President Donna Ryan, who makes population health understandable and tells us how it’s the model of the future for diabetes education and care.
