Anchored by social frames of memories that remain, since they remain alive in the groups and are permanently maintained. Abstract

This article aims to analyze the memories of incarcerated elderly people about family. This is an exploratory and analytical study, with a qualitative approach, carried out in three prison units in Bahia, with 31 incarcerated elderly people, through semi-structured interview.
