Evaluasi Program Pembinaan Warga Gereja terhadap Kaum Pemulung

Abstract. The Church Congregation Fostering Program (PWG) is intended to serve and reach congregations, including those who fall into the category of marginalized groups, such as scavengers, to become effective members of the church and society. GMIM Getsemani Sumompo is one of the churches that has a PWG program for scavengers. Thus, this study intends to evaluate the PWG program for scavengers at GMIM Getsemani Sumompo. The evaluation was carried out using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product). The results of the evaluation show that the PWG program for scavengers is running quite well but has not fully empowered the scavengers.Abstrak. Program Pembinaan Warga Gereja (PWG) dimaksudkan untuk melayani dan menjangkau jemaat, termasuk mereka yang masuk dalam kategori kelompok marginal, seperti pemulung, untuk menjadi warga gereja dan masyarakat yang berdaya guna. GMIM Getsemani Sumompo adalah salah satu gereja yang memiliki program PWG bagi pemulung. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengevaluasi program PWG terhadap pemulung di GMIM Getsemani Sumompo. Evaluasi tersebut dilakukan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, dan Product). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan program PWG terhadap kaum pemulung berjalan dengan cukup baik, namun belum sepenuhnya dapat memberdayakan kaum pemulung tersebut.
