Abstract
Abstract The new species Acrophylla bhaskarai sp. n. from Larat Island, Indonesia, is described from both sexes and the egg. It is the second species of the genus Acrophylla Gray, 1835 known from outside Australia and the first record of the genus from Wallacea. The discovery raises the number of genera of the tribe Phasmatini known to occur within the boundaries of Wallacea to five.
