Abstract

Thaumasite was found in zoned calcic skarns hosted by the monzonitic rocks of the Zvezdel pluton, Eastern Rhodopes. Associated minerals are wollastonite, clinopyroxene, grossular-andradite garnets, Ti-rich garnets, plagioclase, calcite, quartz, epidote, prehnite, and chlorite.
