Joan Fuster’s political theory, based on his work Nosaltres, els valencians in the 1960s, would be called upon to carry out a profound renovation in a Valencianism that, since the Spanish transition to democracy, was debated between the identity reference framework in which the Valencian Country should be situated: the Catalan Countries proposed by Fuster, or just the Valencian territory.
