Green development is indispensable for ecological civilization development, is the inevitable requirement of building a beautiful China; green investment is the key to green development. It comes to the following conclusions: firstly, qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) play a positive role in the promotion of firm green investment; secondly, considering equity concentration, the results show that the higher the degree of ownership concentration, the weaker the promotion role of qualified foreign institutional investors. 合格境外机构投资者、股权集中度与企业绿色投资 Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors, Equity Concentration and Firm Green Investment
Green development is an inevitable measure to accelerate the construction of ecological civilization and a necessary requirement for building a beautiful China. Green investment is the key to implementing the concept of green development. Based on relevant data from heavily polluting A-share listed companies in China from 2008 to 2015, this study empirically investigates the relationship between qualified foreign institutional investor holdings (QFII), equity concentration, and green investment in enterprises. The empirical results indicate that qualified foreign institutional investors have a positive promoting effect on green investment behavior of enterprises; After further considering the factors of equity characteristics, it was found that the higher the concentration of equity in the enterprise, the weaker the driving effect of qualified foreign institutional investors' shareholding on the green investment behavior of the enterprise. This study provides empirical evidence on how to improve the level of green investment in enterprises and empirical support for improving the relevant policies and systems of qualified foreign institutional investors. Green development is independent for ecological civilization development, which is the essential requirement of building a beautiful China; Green investment is the key to green development Based on the empirical data of A-share listed companies of heavy pollution industry in China, it uses an empirical analysis to explore the relationship among QFII, equity concentration and firm green investment It comes to the following conclusions: first, qualified foreign institutional investors (QFII) play a positive role in the promotion of firm green investment; Secondly, considering equity concentration, the results show that the higher the degree of ownership concentration, the weaker the promotion role of qualified foreign institutional investors The conclusions provide empirical evidence for the enhancement of firm green investment and provide evidence for the performance and enhancement of related policies and institutions for qualified foreign institutional investors
