Data has been collected by distributing a 2-domain questionnaire: the role of the athletic knowledge management in achieving the competitive advantage in the sports work environment and the contributions of the athletic knowledge management in improving the sports work environment. Results. The results show that 98% of the participants believed that knowledge management plays a crucial role in achieving a competitive advantage in the sports work environment and improving the sports work environment. Also, the results indicate that knowledge management plays a vital role in contributing to knowledge management operations and developing the sports work environment. Regarding gender, the results show no significant differences between males and females. Conclusion. Abstract
