Jutta Heckhausen is a Professor in the Department of Psychological Science, University of California, Irvine (PhD, 1995, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Great Britain). Her research addresses the role of individual agents and their motivation in life-span development. Richard Arum is Dean of the School of Education at University of California, Irvine.
