This systematic literature review was carried out to examine the relationship between Jordanian nurses' job satisfaction and their working environment. The following databases were searched: Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Medline, Embase, Ovid and PubMed. Relevant studies that were published in English in a peer-reviewed journal between 2000 and 2021 were eligible for inclusion. The initial search identified 1243 studies, of which five were included in the final review, involving a total of 1489 nurse participants. The results indicated a direct or indirect association between a positive work environment and job satisfaction among nurses in Jordan. Abstract
The association between work environment and job satisfaction has not been not clearly established among nurses in Jordan.
