This efficiency was compared to a cooling system composed of double air scrapper and a conventional jet type system. Abstract

In recent years, attention has been given to develop efficient and optimised cooling systems for grinding to reduce the process cost and to limit the health hazards of operators. In ultra-high speed grinding this issue is particularly complex because the thick air barrier rotating with the grinding wheel prevents the fluid from reaching the grinding zone.
