It is because both polices came in response to China’s growing assertiveness in the region, thus are remarkable to shape the future geopolitics and security architecture of the region. However, because of the objective perspective on the recent developments in Indo-Pacific contained within this volume, it is undoubtedly a worth reading to those academics, researchers, students and practitioners of international peace and security, who want to explore geopolitics and geo-economics of the vast Indo-Pacific region.
