Twelve (13.6%) patients had severe disease. Seven (7.9%) patients died. Abstract

Introduction: COVID-19 disease is more prevalent and severe in people who are more likely to be deficient in vitamin D, people with obesity and diabetes mellitus, and people who live in higher latitudes.
