Results: Among the studied professors, 174 (61.3%) were male and 110 (38.7%) were female. The results showed that the priority factor of personal and professional aspects of professors with an average rank of 3.64 and the factor of cultural fields with an average rank of 3.21 and the factor of financial resources and research facilities with an average rank of 3.11 and the factor of management and research policy with The average rank of 2.57 and the structural and administrative factor with the average rank of 2.47 have a role in strengthening the research motivation of professors. Conclusion: By encouraging and facilitating research in education and appropriate policies, we should strengthen the motivation to engage in educational research in parallel with education. Abstract

Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the factors affecting research motivation in teaching professors.
